On the second day of the 2022 Enoshima Trophy at Tutzing, Lake Starnberg, after a very calm morning, the fleet waited a long time, but it was worth the wait. A fine breeze up to eight knots of wind allowed Race officer Friedrich Hauger to start the final two races.

Fabrizio Cavazza, ITA 33, sailed a fantastic race and secured his first victory in the series. Guiseppe Matildi, ITA 6, winner of the last edition of the Enoshima Trophy was fighting hard for second ahead of leader Guido Tommasi, ITA 36.

In the final race, Guido Tommasi showed his excellent boat speed and perfect maneuvers with another first place. ITA 6 came in second, still with the chance to be on the podium, but Fabrizio Cavazza was able to secure second place with a third in this final race.

The legendary 1964 Olympic boat Subbnboana with Christian Hemmerich at the helm  took sixth place in this race, but that did not count for his third place overall.
The evening ended with a fine dinner, a lot of stories and a movie from the 1964 Olympic Regattas presented by Biwi Reich.

The prize giving ceremony took place Wednesday morning at a classic Bavarian Weißwurst-breakfast.
